Since my undergrad trip to New York City and having the opportunity to visit the Brooklyn office of Hugo and Marie - I’ve been drawn and inspired by independent graphic designer and illustrator, (MVM) Magnus Voll Mathiassen. That being said I’ve wanted to create a portrait - or portraits - inspired by his color theory and minimalist styled portraits.
THE ORIGINAL
During a shoot with my sister I stopped and had her snap a couple of me - directing her on what I was hoping for an outcome.
(I rarely get in front of cameras, so voluntarily doing so was completely out of my comfort zone)
